Dumbbell Side Bend - Left

How to perform it

  1. Stand with your feet shoulder-width apart and a dumbbell in your left hand at your side.
  2. Keep your spine upright, abs engaged, and your right hand on your head or in a comfortable position throughout the movement.
  3. Bend your torso laterally to the left with control.
  4. Lower through a comfortable range without rotating your torso or losing hip alignment.
  5. Return to the starting position using the muscles along the side of your torso, without momentum.
  6. Keep the dumbbell stable at your side throughout the exercise.
  7. Avoid leaning your torso forward or backward during the movement.
  8. Exhale as you return and inhale as you lower.
