Dumbbell Side Bend - Right

How to perform it

  1. Stand with your feet shoulder-width apart and a dumbbell in your right hand at your side.
  2. Keep your spine upright, abs engaged, and your left hand on your head or in a comfortable position throughout the set.
  3. Bend your torso laterally to the right with control.
  4. Lower through a comfortable range without rotating your torso or losing hip alignment.
  5. Return to the starting position using the muscles along the side of your torso, without momentum.
  6. Keep the dumbbell stable at your side throughout the movement.
  7. Avoid leaning your torso forward or backward during the exercise.
  8. Exhale as you return and inhale as you lower.
