How to perform it

  1. Stand behind the step holding a dumbbell in each hand with your arms at your sides.
  2. Step onto the platform with your right foot and push through it to rise, bringing your left knee toward your chest as you reach the top.
  3. Keep your torso upright and your abs engaged throughout the movement.
  4. Then step down with control, returning your left foot to the floor first and then your right foot.
  5. Inhale before stepping up and exhale as you raise the knee.
