Sled Push

How to perform it

  1. Stand behind the sled and grip the handles firmly with your arms extended.
  2. Lean your torso slightly forward while keeping your abs engaged and your spine aligned.
  3. Plant your feet firmly on the floor and begin pushing the sled forward with short, controlled steps.
  4. Throughout the set, distribute the effort between your legs and core without allowing your hips to rise excessively or your lower back to collapse.
  5. Breathe continuously as you move and maintain a pace appropriate for the prescribed intensity.
  6. Continue pushing until you complete the distance or time set for the workout.

What you should feel

Greater activation of the legs, glutes, and core during the push. Elevated cardiovascular effort and continuous force production, without pain in the lower back or shoulders.
