How to perform it
- Sit on the machine with your back well supported against the pad, feet firmly on the floor, and abs engaged.
- Adjust the seat so the handles are at shoulder height or slightly above.
- Hold the handles firmly with your elbows bent and aligned below your hands.
- Press the handles upward with control until your arms are almost fully extended.
- Avoid locking your elbows at the top and keep your shoulders stabilized throughout the movement.
- Slowly lower back to the starting position, controlling the load and maintaining your posture.
- Keep your torso supported and avoid excessively arching your lower back or using body momentum.
- Exhale as you press the weight up and inhale as you return.
